The Yorkshire and Humberside Community Development Network (YHCDN) was established in 2003, by people involved in or interested in community development work and learning. The YHCDN’s main aim is to bring together individuals and organisations from within the Yorkshire and Humberside region that are committed to taking a community development approach to improving the quality of life within the communities they work with and bringing about strategic change and development on all levels. YHCDN works because its members contribute by sharing information and ideas and taking opportunities to obtain resources to put on events: it has no paid staff.
